platequest.support@nautilytics.comFrequently asked questions
How do I submit a plate?
When you're a passenger, on foot, or safely parked, tap the capture button on the home screen, point your camera at a license plate, and tap the shutter. Once you're happy with the photo, tap Add to Atlas. Captures are reviewed before they join your collection.
Why is my submission still pending?
Captures are reviewed before they join your collection. If yours has been pending for more than 3 days, email us with the subject "Pending submission" and we'll take a look.
What happens to the photo I submit?
Photos are stored securely and reviewed by a moderator to verify the plate design. We keep them to train and improve PlateQuest's on-device plate-recognition model, and we never sell them or use them for advertising. Rarely, a moderator may feature an approved capture as a design's image in the shared atlas. If you delete your account, we remove the photos you submitted. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app and go to the Me tab → Delete Account. Account access is removed immediately, and deletion of your associated profile, collection, and photos begins as part of the request. You can also email platequest.support@nautilytics.com with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll do it for you.
What is PlateQuest Pro, and what's free?
The core 50-state hunt is free: snap plates, fill your atlas, and earn badges. Free accounts may have a daily submission limit. PlateQuest Pro is a single one-time purchase — never a subscription — that removes that limit and unlocks collecting multiple designs per state, the full specialty-plate catalog, detailed design stats, and expanded avatar customization. Friend races are coming soon. Purchases are billed by Apple. To bring Pro to a new device, open the upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchases. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I turn off push notifications?
Go to your iPhone's Settings → PlateQuest → Notifications and toggle them off.
I found a bug or the app crashed. How do I report it?
Email platequest.support@nautilytics.com with a description of what happened and what device and iOS version you're on. Screenshots are always helpful.
